Notes: Gwen's induction into Torchwood is providing some tough lessons.

Gwen dumped the mop back in the water, swirling it around before squeezing it out and returning it to the floor. Blood. There was just so much blood.

She couldn't tell if she was making it worse. The light down here was bad and the water was probably just as red.

Just because she was new didn't make what happened affect her any less. Poor Ianto. He'd loved that woman and now she was gone, nothing left now but the pool of blood Gwen was slowly erasing.

She wept silently as the last traces of life disappeared under her mop.

I don't think he was in a state to do it, no matter what. I feel sorry for Gwen too. She's had a rough induction into the harsh realities of working for Torchwood.
