Ianto heard the alarm go off, and a second later came Jack's groan.

'Third time this week and not a peep during the day,' Jack complained, as Ianto pulled back the bed covers.

Yes, nightly rift alerts were becoming a nuisance. It might have been nice to palm them off on some other member of the team, but this was the price you paid. All nightly rift alerts six days a week in exchange for all of Sunday off. In theory it sounded great, but every alarm made Ianto reconsider the value of a lie in and a late breakfast.

There should be a rota for night alerts. Poor Ianto will soon be too tired to make good coffee!

He does love having his Sundays off, though. They just need a few more people to help ease the load.
