Notes: Ianto is trying to find his feet at Torchwood Three, and ends up finding a friend. A double drabble.

'I'm really sorry to be such a nuisance,' Ianto apologised, looking about as contrite and sincere as Tosh had ever seen anyone, shuffling awkwardly from foot to foot. He couldn't help it. Torchwood this might be, but London it most definitely wasn't.

'It's okay,' she replied.

He didn't really think it was. First day here and he'd already bugged her twice, picking her out as the friendly, approachable one. The first time had been for stationery, the second, a point in the direction of the toilets, which Jack had failed to mention on his grand tour, and now he couldn't log on.

'Let me just check,' Tosh said, pushing her glasses up her nose. Admittedly, if something with his computer was broken, Toshiko probably was the best person to ask.

'Yep, here it is,' Tosh declared, giving him a warm smile. 'Someone, and we shan't say who,' she said, giving him a conspiratorial look, 'forgot to actually set you up with proper access to our network.' She tapped a few more keys. 'There you go. Now when you try to log on with that password, it'll actually do something.'

'Thank you, Ms Sato.'

'Don't be so polite. It's just Tosh.'

Poor Ianto, it's tough being the newbie. Tosh is of course the best person to ask for anything.

Not knowing where anything is and how it all works is tough, and knowing who you can ask is harder still. Tosh will set him on the right path.
