Notes: Ianto's efforts to improve Jack's diet nearly kill him. A double drabble.

Ianto was passing by Jack's office when he heard the awful gagging sounds. He immediately went in, finding Jack clutching desperately at his throat, struggling to breathe.

'Owen!' he yelled, bringing their medic running as he rushed over to help Jack.

'What's wrong? What's happened?' Owen demanded.

'I don't know. I just found him like this.'

Jack pointed at his throat, tears welling in his eyes.

'He can't breathe. Oh, God,' Ianto said, realisation dawning. 'I brought him a bowl of trail mix earlier. There were peanuts in it. I didn't even think to ask if he was allergic.'

Owen was perplexed. It didn't look like anaphylaxis.

As Jack's face began to turn blue, Owen leapt into action, forcing Jack over and giving him back blows with the heel of his hand. On the third blow, Jack made a strangled sound, and something went flying from his mouth. He gasped a few times before sitting up.

'Thanks, Owen. Stupid thing went down the wrong way. I told you this health food stuff would kill me,' he said, teasing Ianto.

'Better stick to feeding him donuts from now on, Teaboy,' Owen warned. 'A lot safer.'

Ianto frowned. 'Not very healthy, though.'

Doughnuts aren't any safer really, the way Jack tries to cram a whole one in his mouth. It's a wonder he doesn't choke to death more often.

If Ianto wants to ge healthy maybe he should give Jack a tub of yoghurt or something....
