'Jack! What happened to your hair?' Ianto cried. 'It's gone white!'

'Oh, this?' he said, pointing at it, no longer its usual soft brown. 'Minor mishap with a bit of alien tech. Besides, it's not white, it's silver.' All except one little stripe on the left which was black. 'It's kinda growing on me, pardon the pun. You know, like I'm all sexy silver fox, now.' He grinned salaciously.

'Is it permanent?'

'Nah. It'll grow out again just fine. A few weeks, maybe.'

'Well, that's a relief. I know you're old, but I quite like that you don't look it.'
