'Come on, old man,' Jack called over his shoulder. 'Keep up,' he said, striding towards the Elucian Temple. 'They'll have finished making all the interesting sacrifices before we even get there.'
The Doctor came to a sudden halt, Ianto nearly running into the back of him. 'Old man?'
'I don't think he was referring to me,' Ianto replied rather sheepishly.
'I'm not over the hill yet!' the Doctor yelled back.
Jack stopped and gave him an up and down look, taking in the grey hair and wrinkled brow. 'Really? Twelve hundred years?'
'Oh, and you can talk!' the Doctor replied. 'Not exactly a spring chicken yourself. What is it, three thousand years?' he asked.
Jack narrowed his eyes. 'Two thousand two hundred and forty four, thank you.'
'And still mentally ten years old,' Ianto quipped.
'Says the man who doesn't look a day over thirty,' Jack replied. 'You'd be in a retirement home playing bingo if it wasn't for me.'
'And you'd come visit and flirt with all the old ladies. You probably dated half of them.'
'Half?' The Doctor scoffed. 'All of them more likely. And the men.'
Jack huffed. 'I've got a lot of love to go around.'
