Summary: A young warrior learns not to mess with Bronn the hard way A double drabble.

Bronn wandered through the encampment, watching as boys half his age carried their mail and swords as if they'd slayed a dragon personally with them. Cocky sons of bitches.

He stopped by one in particular, sat on a stone, running a cloth down the gleaming steel. Doesn't even need sharpening, he thought.

'That's a nice fucking sword,' he said, standing over him.

'It was my father's and his father's before him. The blade is as sharp as the day it was forged. Blended with Valyrian steel.'

'Oh, aye. Seen any battle, then?'

The young man drew it and took a position, preparing to challenge Bronn. 'Shall we find out?' he asked.

Arrogant little shit, Bronn thought, but drawing his own. The man lunged at him and Bronn parried the blow easily. The clink of metal on metal attracted the gaze of several people. Within three strokes however, Bronn had him on the ground with his sword pressed against his neck, the boy begging him to yield.

'I'll have that nice fucking sword as my prize,' Bronn said. Unsurprisingly, the boy relented.

'Nothing to see here, folks,' he announced, dispelling the crowd as he strapped his new sword to his belt.
