'That was most unsuccessful, O'Neill,' Teal'c said, as the Stargate shut down behind them, leaving them in the gate room.

Jack turned around and looked at him incredulously. 'You think?'

'Colonel, is everything alright down there?' came the sound of General Hammond's voice over the loudspeaker.

'Just peachy, sir,' Jack said tipping his cap at their commanding officer, feeling more of the green sludge drip from its edge and onto his boot. O'Neill pulled a face. Not only did it look disgusting, it stunk as well.

'Carter?'

'Yes, sir?'

'Remind me not to kick the alien plant spores next time.'
