Grrr. So sick of Russian spambots posting dirty pictures on my blog. No wonder people keep leaving LJ for other blogs.

Not happy. :(

Here at LJ. I keep blocking them and reporting them as spam but LJ don't do anything about it. The spammers just set up a hundred new fake accounts and keep going. What I don't get is why they do it. What do you achieve by posting semi pornographic images as replies to people's posts?

Are they on every post, or are there key words in some posts, like the more adult stories, that they scan for and then spam-comment.

I wondered that myself, but the two stories that got hit this week were Ianto adopting a cat, and him having a visitor in the archives from another dimension. If they were going after my naughty fics, they well and truly missed the mark. *perplexed :s*
