Notes: Gwen teaches the boys a valuable lesson about parenting. A double drabble.

'D'you reckon Anwen is okay?' Rhys asked as they trundled up the path to the door, hauling their luggage behind him. 'Maybe we should have left her with my mum.'

'Don't be silly,' Gwen said, fumbling for the house keys. 'It's Jack and Ianto. They've handled a lot worse than a baby. I'm sure she was no trouble. Besides, all I need is your mum fussing over Anwen as if she's the only person on the planet capable of caring for a child.'

'All being well they might let us have another weekend away, they, eh?' Rhys asked hopefully. 'Having a local babysitting service isn't such a bad idea.'

When Gwen opened the door, Anwen was on the floor, gurgling at the toys hanging above her in the little playpen.

'Hello sweetheart! Did you miss Mummy?' she said, rushing over to pick her up and kiss her. 'Aw! We missed you!'

Rhys snorted and Gwen turned to him. 'Good that someone was watching her,' he said, pointing at the sofa where the two men were leant against one another, fast asleep.

'Did you wear out your two uncles, Anwen? Too many cuddles? Maybe now they'll appreciate how hard parenting is.'

That's te last time Jack and Ianto are babysitting until Anwen sleeps through the night.
