Challenge 526 - Lack of proof

Notes: A visitor to the scene of the crime thinks all his Christmases have come at once. A double drabble.

'Has anyone ever told you it's rude to take photos of the dead?' Jack asked, approaching the young man from behind. He started, seeing the tall, handsome figure in the long grey coat.

'It's alien, I reckon. Man, no one is going to believe this!' he added excitedly, taking a few more pictures.

'Can I see?' Jack asked, reaching for the phone. He handed it over, leaning close to Jack to admire his own handiwork.

'What d'you reckon?' the man asked. 'I mean, the first couple were a bit blurry and all, but blimey! No one's gonna think these are a hoax.'

'It certainly looks real to me,' Jack agreed, perusing the photos.

'The newspapers will pay a bomb for these!'

'They probably would,' Jack replied, pocketing the phone.

'Oi! That's my phone. You can't have that!'

'It's property of the Torchwood Institute now, as is that body. My team will be here shortly, but thanks for saving us the hassle of taking photographs in situ.'

The man looked crestfallen. 'But that's my phone! What if my mum calls?'

'Then I'll tell her you're on your way home. Buy her some flowers and don't upset her with talk of aliens.'

Tat's one way of making sure the photos don't get into the wrong hands! I'm sure the phone will be returned once all incriminating pictures are deleted.
