Gwen drummed her fingers on the end of the desk, over and over again, staring off into space.

'D'you wanna quit that?' Rex huffed, gripping the edges of the laptop. 'It's driving me nuts.'

Gwen pulled her hand away balling it into a fist, pressing it against the bridge of her nose. 'Sorry. Sorry, I just... I hate just sitting here, playing this watch and wait game.'

'Yeah, well for once you can't just do your Torchwood thing and go in all guns blazing,' Rex lectured.

'Have you tried telling Jack that? No one has seen him for two days.'
