Notes: A night trawling the sewers? What could possibly go wrong?

'Another night searching the sewers for creatures unknown,' Jack said, sloshing through the three inches of water as if this was perfectly normal.

Ianto however didn’t share his enthusiasm. 'Yes, lovely,' he muttered. 'It’s like "I’m a Celebrity", only without the reassurances that there’s nothing truly deadly lurking at the end of it.' He hated the thought of the dry cleaning bill at the end of the night.

'Cheer up, Ianto. How bad could it be?'

There was a low, threatening growl behind him that stopped him from replying, forcing him to freeze to the spot.

That bad, he thought.
