'Jesus Christ,' Owen muttered when he saw Jack stumble back into the hub. He was covered in blood, scratches and bruises that had yet to heal over. Not to mention the state of his clothes. Teaboy would be livid.

'What the hell happened to you?'

'That rift alert was for blowfish,' Jack replied, sitting gingerly in the nearest vacant desk chair. 'It's down in the cells now.'

'You should've called for backup.'

Jack waved him away. 'It was fine. I got a two for one bargain.'

'How so?'

'For every two punches I gave him, he gave me one back.'
