Notes: Jack is trying to make a good impression, but Ianto is threatening that.

'Stop that!' Jack chastised. 'They're gonna think you've got a screw loose.'

Ianto heaved out a sigh, pocketing his handkerchief. 'It was dirty.'

Jack resisted the urge to respond. He knew he couldn't change his lover no matter what. When he was nervous, he tidied and cleaned. Maybe it was just a compulsion to be doing something instead of nothing.

Jack saw the hand going for his pocket once more and stopped it.

'Just that spot there,' Ianto pleaded.

Jack sighed. The President of the Shadow Proclamation would not be pleased to walk in and find them cleaning his desk.
