Summary: Ianto can't help the way he is, but that doesn't mean everyone likes it. A double drabble.

Ianto had been sulking down in the archives all afternoon. After his outburst at this morning's meeting he was far too embarrassed to show his face. Not to mention that Owen would find some excuse to subject him to a very painful medical check-up as revenge.  

He hadn't meant to yell at Owen, but he'd been so wound up. Owen was refusing to do any research that required him to obtain items from the archives. Apparently he thought Ianto made the process, as Owen phrased it, "harder than trying to fuck a nun".

Ianto replied that Owen was welcome to do his own research, just as he was also welcome to clean up after his own autopsies from now on.

'I would, except I get sick of you moaning that I haven't done it to your exacting standards.'  Owen looked around the room. 'Hear that, Teaboy? That's the sound of no one disagreeing.'

Ianto stood up, told Owen to go fuck himself, and left.

'Still sulking?' Jack asked, appearing in the doorway.

'Busy trying to make my processes harder,' he retorted.

He came over and gave Ianto a hug. 'It's just the way you are. I still love you, though.'

That's not exactly resounding support, Jack... You're supposed to tell him his processes aren't difficult and Owen is just being awkward. Even if it's not completely true.

Sometimes Jack's honesty does him a disservice! If he was trying to tell Ianto it was okay to be who he was, it didn't quite come off the way he intended.
