Summary: Sam's efforts at distraction are driving his brothers to distraction.

'Technically, they say that there are no true bloodlines left of the First Men,' Sam lectured as he trudged through the thick drifts of snow, his legs weary from the effort. Only his fascination with the history all around them distracted him from his aches. That and his determination to not to fall behind.

'Sam, do you ever get tired of talking?' Pyp complained.

'I'm tired of listening to him,' Grenn added.

'Just trying to help pass the time,' Sam replied.

'Just when I though traipsing north of the wall through the fucking snow couldn't get any worse,' Grenn muttered.
