Notes: Jack has fond memories of the night he came back.

Jack crept up behind Ianto as he was readying the team's weapons in the armory before heading out. He wrapped his arms around Ianto's waist as he scrutinised the clip, before sliding it into the gun.

'Do you remember that night I came back and you were in a Mexican standoff with that blowfish?'

'Why?' Ianto asked, keeping his tone suspicious.

'Just because I don't think I ever told you how dashing and heroic you looked.'

Ianto snorted. He and Jack had very different recollections of events.  Heroes save the day. Ianto wasn't even sure he would've pulled the trigger.

If Jack hadn't shown up, I think Ianto would have taken the shot, if only because someone had to. He needs to believe in himself.
