Notes: A terror is threatening the hub.

The screech from Jack pierced through the quiet hub. Owen grabbed at his chest, as if the sudden noise had given him a heart attack rather than  just a fright

'Jesus! What the hell?' Owen asked.

'Kill it! Kill it!' came the desperate yells from Jack.

Owen and Tosh were both reaching for their guns, acting on instinct. They were about to storm Jack's office when there was an almighty thump, and then deathly silence.

'Never fear,' Ianto said, coming out with a rolled up newspaper. 'The arachnid threat has been dealt with.'

'All hail our mighty hero,' Owen quipped.

Poor Jack, I sympathise. I'm usually the one dealing with the eight-legged menaces. I don't like them, I've been known to chase them while screaming, but my mother and sister were both even more scared than I was so I had to learn to be the hero.
