Notes: Torchwood isn't quite what Andy expected.

Andy stood in the kitchen, waiting for the kettle to boil. 'You know,' he began, turning to Gwen, 'when I joined Torchwood, this wasn't quite how I imagined it being. Making tea for a bunch of strangers in their own home doesn't exactly seem very Torchwood.'

Gwen gave him a little smile. 'It's not all about being heroic and saving the world from aliens. Sometimes, it's just about the people who get caught in the middle, making cups of tea and making sure they're okay.'

Andy smiled back. 'Well, at least I shouldn't be able to bugger up that part.'
