'Have you heard the latest?' Owen asked, watching Tosh as she gratefully accepted coffee from Ianto.

'Heard what?' she replied, taking a sip.

'Jack's gone and hired that nosy copper woman.'

'The one with the pizzas?'

'Yep. Suzie's body isn't even cold yet. Well, technically it is since I stuck her in the morgue.'  Owen scowled at the look Ianto gave him. 'What? I didn't see you crying over it.'

'She was our friend,' Tosh said, still feeling a little detached herself.

'Yeah, well turns out you're only as good as the last case you don't fuck up,' Owen replied.
