Gwen settled at her desk with the first coffee of the morning, watching Ianto review the overnight rift readings. 'Can I ask you why Jack has a bowl of lemons on his desk? I noticed them this morning when I dropped off my reports.'

Ianto rolled his eyes. 'Ever since Anwen showed him that secret message written in lemon juice she did at school, he's been obsessed with it.'

'Well, I suppose that explains the random bits of blank paper on my desk,' Gwen said, holding up several.

'Invest in a cigarette lighter, just in case he wrote something important.'
