Notes: Jack has eliminated the alien threat and cleaned it up all in one go.

Jack hefted the plasma canon off his shoulder with a smug grin. 'What did I tell you? Got it in one.'

He certainly had, Tosh thought. The creature, a narsilafagus Jack called it, had been terrorizing the skies over Cardiff, swooping down on unsuspecting people, trying to lay its eggs in the corpses it made.

Jack and Tosh had followed it, and Jack, stood atop a small apartment block, had blasted it into a million pieces with a single well-aimed shot. The cloud of obliterated alien wafted over them before the breeze dispersed it, as if it had never existed.

A shame they couldn't have got it before it killed anyone. The rest of the cover-up will be much more difficult.
