Notes: Jack is finding it hard to fit into 19th century Cardiff.

'Would you stop fidgeting for heaven's sake!' Alice scolded. 'You act as if you've never worn clothes before.'

Jack tugged at the neck of his shirt again, convinced that it was trying to strangle him. These nineteenth century garments were just awful with all their long puffy sleeves, frills and lace. What he wouldn't give to have his faithful leather jacket back. In fact, anything would be more comfortable.

Fitting in had never been his problem, but as he swatted the frilly collar away from his face, he began to wonder if Victorian Wales might be the death of him.
