Summary: Tyrion has unfinished business before he leaves King's Landing. A double drable.
'I've been waiting here some time,' Varys said as Tyrion's small form came into view in the flickering torchlight.
Tyrion looked unsurprised to see him, merely falling into step with him as he began to lead them both through the maze of tunnels under the Red Keep. Trust Varys to know them all, like the spider he was, creeping around the castle.
'Did they cut out your tongue?' Varys asked as the silence continued. 'I should have expected you'd have plenty to say and be in rather a hurry to get out of here.'
'I had things to do,' Tyrion replied. 'If I'm to spend the rest of my days in exile for being a convicted murderer, I thought it only right that I at least be guilty of the crime everyone was so eager to accuse me of doing.'
Varys jerked to a halt, swinging the torch around so that he could cast its light on the dwarf's face. 'The king?'
Tyrion shook his head. 'No. Tommen is a sweet boy. I pray that nothing terrible befall him, though in this city I very much doubt it.' It seemed everyone had enemies, even the innocent.
Varys frowned. 'Then who?'
