Notes: There's only so much Gwen and Ianto can squeeze into any given day.

Gwen flopped onto the sofa with a loud sigh. Next to her Ianto reached across and held up a plate. 'Pizza?'

She shook her head. 'No thanks. I'm utterly knackered. I don't even have the energy for food.'

He set the plate down on the coffee table, next to his own untouched slice. 'Me too.'

She studied him, noticing the shadows under his eyes that matched hers. 'I thought we'd be better at this by now. You know, with Tosh and Owen gone,' she said. 'I thought we'd learn to make do with less.'

'We did. It just isn't enough.'

Difficult though it is, they do need to do something about hiring new personnel.

Recruitment is such a tricky thing. At Torchwood it's more like waiting for people to drop in your lap - sometimes quite literally.
