Notes: Ianto got a little more than he bargained for doing his morning rounds.

'Morning, gorgeous girl,' Ianto greeted, smiling brightly as he clutched a fresh bucket of water for his favourite Torchwood resident. He couldn't yet see her, still buried deeply under her pile of straw, keeping warm.

'Up and attem,' he called. 'The fish won't stay fresh forever.' No sooner had he turned his back then there was an explosion of straw. An outstretched wing hit him in the back and he toppled forward. He cried out as he grabbed the railing just in the nick of time.

'Ianto!' Jack called out. 'Everything okay up there?'

'Yup! Just doing our morning stretches!'
