Notes: Ianto is prepared to do almost anything for Jack. A double drabble.

Jack nearly fell off the stool, watching Ianto prepare breakfast for the pair of them. Already the scent of sizzling bacon was making his mouth water. 'Is that tea?' he asked, seeing Ianto dip something up and down in a mug.

Ianto smiled. 'Yep.'

'But... Where's the coffee?'

Ianto pushed Jack's own mug across the counter. 'Here's yours. No tea for you, I promise. I know what you're like without your first coffee of the day.'

'But...' Jack was still confounded. 'Since when do you have tea with breakfast?'

Ianto pulled the teabag out of the mug and binned it. 'Since we're still three thousand light-years from the closest spaceport that has coffee on its tradeable items list. Who knew coffee was such a rarity in the universe? Well, good coffee in any case. If I drink tea, I can stretch out our coffee reserves until we make it there to restock.'

'You'd do that for me? Sacrifice your own share of the coffee?'

Ianto wanted to laugh. Jack made it sound like he was giving up a kidney. 'It's a small price to pay for not having a coffee deprived husband.'

'Your sacrifice will not go unrewarded,' Jack promised.
