Summary: Jack is torn between two loves. A double drabble.

'You're late,' Ianto said, tapping his foot on the paving stone. 'Make sure you're here five pm sharp, you said. Big date night plans, you said.' He glared at Jack. 'I was here. What's your excuse? Weevils running amok in Debenhams? A tear in space time that ends up in Norwich?'

Jack studied his boot rather than meet Ianto's gaze. 'I was stuck in a queue.'

Ianto snorted. 'Well, that must have been some queue to be late by over an hour!' He paused for a moment. 'Wait, you weren't at that grand opening for the new Donut Days store, we're you?'

Jack griped Ianto by the arms. 'I tried not to, really I did, but you should have seen the windows full of every kind of donut imaginable. It was impossible to keep walking by.'

Ianto shook his head. 'Your insatiable lust for glazed pastries overrode your desire to make it on time for our date.'

'I'm weak, I admit it. Say you'll forgive me?'

He sighed. 'Well, I suppose you're not hungry for dinner now.'

'Are you kidding? I got all the way to the front of the line only to be told they'd sold out. I'm starving!'
