Notes: All of Tosh's hard work is about to finally pay off. A double drabble.

Tosh bit back a cry of frustration as her program crashed once more. The blue Torchwood screen simply read "debug" without actually telling her what was wrong. That was the most vexing thing. She'd only tweaked a few lines of code but something in those lines was upsetting the delicate balance of instructions she's spent months working on.

She scrutinised the lines of code once more. Ah ha! There it was. One tiny little backslash she'd omitted. She typed it in and hit execute. This time the program didn't crash, but happily scrolled through.

She beamed with unrepentant pride. All those long hours of slaving over her computer late at night, long after the others had all gone home to enjoy what little time they had away from it all. Her neck and eyes ached from overuse but finally it was done - her time lock program, designed to create a protective temporal shell within the hub, capable of defending them from outside threats, or to buy them more time in a crisis. Of course, it still needed to be properly tested, but she couldn't wait to put it through its paces. This was going to be a real game changer.
