Notes: Jack and Owen are having a rough night.

'Hold it steady!' Jack yelled, struggling against the hoix as it tried to go for his arm, intending on taking a chunk out of it.

'I'm trying!' Owen grunted, practically sitting on its legs as it bucked underneath him. 'This is the best I can manage with only two hours sleep!'

Jack cried out as teeth pierced his skin. 'Is this really the best time to be giving me attitude?'

'It started it!' Owen argued, scrambling for a second injector pen of sedative. 'Just distract it for a minute!'

Jack howled as it tore away more flesh. 'Just hurry up!'
