Summary: Jack is very jealous of his conscientious lover.
Ianto smiled when the side door slid opened, revealing Jack. 'Hey there.'
'Hey yourself,' Jack said, leaning against the side of the door. 'Whatcha been doing?'
'Oh, you know. Work. Helping out the odd lost tourist.'
Jack quirked an eyebrow at him. 'Real tourists in our tourist office? Will wonders never cease? I take it you enjoyed yourself?'
'By enjoyed you mean?'
Jack gave him a knowing look. 'I was watching you on the CCTV.'
Ianto dropped his pen. 'You were watching, me? Seriously, don't you have any real work to do?'
Jack pushed away from the wall and leaned his elbows on the desk in between the pamphlet holders. 'You and Mister "I'm from Sydney" were having quite the chatty chat.'
Ianto rolled his eyes. 'It's a tourist office. He was here to find out stuff that tourists like to know.'
'And you were only too happy to oblige.' He smirked at Ianto.
'Just because it's a front for a top secret organisation that deals with aliens doesn't mean we shouldn't offer assistance to human newcomers to the city as well.'
'It sounded like you assisted him quite a bit. He must have been here for what, half an hour at least?'
'He was only in town for a couple of days. He wanted to make sure he didn't miss any of the important must see attractions.'
'I think he found something attractive, that's for sure.' Jack ran a finger across Ianto's cheek and then the tip of his nose. 'I heard him tell you that he thought your Welsh accent was the best accent in the world.' Jack chuckled. 'I mean, come on, who thinks Welsh is romantic? French or Spanish. A decent English accent even, but Welsh?'
Ianto bristled. 'I never hear you complaining about my Welsh vowels.'
'He was flattering you, Ianto. All that "what do you think?" and "what about this, or that?" and "whatever you suggest, I'll trust you?" He had a lot of questions, don't you think?'
'It's what people in unfamiliar cities do, Jack. They trust the locals.'
'Is that why he took great pains to tell you which hotel he was staying at, and did you know any nice restaurants nearby? That sounded a lot like an invitation to me. After all, he was very, very grateful. And you did happen to mention only the best restaurant in all of Cardiff right around the corner from his hotel. Might be the same one where we celebrated our anniversary? "It's really very good," you said. "One of my favourites. You never know, I might bump into you there."'
'See, now you're just putting words in my mouth.'
'Oh, I don't think it was words he wanted to put in your mouth. Not once he had you back in his hotel room.'
'Jack!'
'Face it. He was flirting with you and you were letting him.'
'Do I sense a tone of jealousy?'
'Me? What would I have to be jealous about?'
'What indeed?'
