Notes: Owen can only take so much. A double drabble.

'The worry wanderer,' Ianto suggested, as Jack held the item up.

Jack beamed back at Ianto. 'That has a nice ring to it, don't you think Owen?'

Owen's eyes lifted up, beseeching whatever Gods existed to make it stop. He couldn't take any more of this cutesy banter between the pair of them, even if it was ostensibly guised as work related. It was a shitty name for a stupid artifact that had a tendency to make people deliriously happy for short periods of time, forgetting all their problems.

It was deactivated now, but he couldn't help but wonder what it was that made Jack so deliriously happy every time Ianto came up with what he thought was a clever name. He'd probably go all gooey no matter what Ianto said. It was pathetic. In fact, most of the names Ianto came up with were rubbish. Life knife, risen mitten. God, when did it end?

'Owen?' Jack asked, still waiting for a response.

Owen pushed back out of his chair. 'Yeah, call it whatever. Can I go now?'

Jack and Ianto exchanged confused glances as Owen departed. 'What's his problem?' Jack asked.

'Medically incurable and difficult to pronounce,' Ianto replied.

Owen's just jealous. He wishes he could come up with cool names like Ianto does. They're such 'brothers.'
