'Owen!' Jack called out, 'you're on overnight duty tonight.'

The pen fell from Owen's mouth as he looked up at Jack leaning over the railing. 'S'cuse me?'

'Rift duty. Tonight,' Jack clarified. 'That's okay, isn't it? I know it isn't your normal rostered night, but...'

Owen checked his watch. 'A bit late in the day to be telling me. If I'd know I wouldn't have come in this morning.'

'Sorry. I completely forgot that I promised to babysit tonight and Ianto will kill me if I'm not there.'

Owen sighed. 'Fine, but you'll owe me.'

'I know. You're a lifesaver.'
