'I was going to say you probably shouldn't poke it,' Jack said, cringing as he pulled his arm away from his body, watching the thick, sticky goop cling to his body like webbing.

'It's a little too late for that, don't you think?' Owen grumbled, running a hand down his face to remove the worst of it. 'Why do alien plants all feel the need to explode their seed pods?'

'It happens here on Earth too, you know,' Jack replied. 'They're just not quite as, er, pornographic.'

'Great. It quivered, I poked it and it came all over me. Lovely.'
