Notes: Jack's abdominal pains are causing concern. A double drabble.

'Is it anything serious?' Jack asked, wincing as his stomach twinged painfully.

Owen pulled Jack's shirt back down, having competed his scan. 'If by serious you mean are you gestating something alien that might choose to tear its way out of your body when the times comes, then no.'

'But there is something there?' Ianto asked, gripping Jack's hand tightly.

'Oh, there's something alright,' Owen confirmed. 'It just isn't alien.'

Jack shook his head. 'Nope. Not possible. Had them fix it so I couldn't get pregnant again.'

'Again?' Ianto queried.

Owen studied the pair of them. God help the world if these two decided to have kids, he thought. Idiots. 'He's not pregnant.'

'Oh, thank God,' Ianto said, sinking down onto the stool before his legs gave out.

'Then what?' Jack asked.

'You said you've been hiccupping all afternoon?'

Jack nodded, resting his hand on his aching stomach. 'Yeah. Drove me crazy, but it's stopped now.'

'How'd you stop it? Forced yourself not to do it?'

'Uh huh.'

'What are you saying, Owen?' Ianto asked.

'In simple terms, numb nuts here swallowed every time he went to hiccup. He's got a stomach ache from all the air trapped down there.'
