Summary: Jack wasn't sure he could trust this Ianto Jones kid. A double drabble.

Jack was uncertain as let the young man get in his car and give him directions to the warehouse on the outskirts of the city. He wasn't sure if it was just another ploy to get ten minutes alone with Jack to plead his case, or whether there really was a pterodactyl.

He'd never seen a live dinosaur. That mess after the asteroid crash was just temporary survival instincts kicking in. He'd eat anything until a rescue ship could swing by and pick him up, and it was pre-cooked for his convenience, along with pretty much the entire planet.

Last time I try to tow a rogue asteroid, he'd vowed, even though the mineral content was worth a bomb to the right species. He just had to get it there. He must have miscalculated the mass and velocity as he'd locked his tractor beam around it.

He yanked open the warehouse door, half expecting an ambush or a gun to his head, threatening him to give Ianto the job. Instead, it was the huge beast flying straight toward him that held his attention. He slammed the door and leaned his weight against it. Just when he thought he'd seen everything!
