'Someone's a little tense,' Jack remarked, pulling Ianto into his arms despite his protests. He was accustomed to having to coax Ianto into stopping whatever he was doing, but today he went the stiff as a board the moment Jack grabbed him.

'What's wrong?' Jack asked. 'No one else is watching us.' Not that a few witnesses were going to stop him.

'Rib,' Ianto hissed, trying to keep as still as possible, his face scrunching up in pain.

Jack's hands flew away in an instant, forgetting all about the cracked rib he'd sustained yesterday fighting off a weevil. 'Oops. Sorry!'

*winces* As someone who's had a cracked rib twice, I feel Ianto's pain. The last thing he needs is a hug!
