'You want us to go down there?' Owen said, staring down at the open manhole.

Jack studied his new recruit with a raised eyebrow. 'We're looking for a weevil and that's where they tend to hang out.'

'In the sewers?'

'I never said they made good choices, but I'd rather we bag and tag this one before it decides to come up for some fresh air and hassle the locals. Being able to monitor their movement is crucial.'

'Down there?' Owen repeated.

'Think of it as an adventure. Haven't you ever wanted to explore Cardiff's sewers?'

'Can't say I have.'
