Summary: Ianto has a knack for knowing what the team need before they do. A double drabble.

'I've brought you a coffee, sir,' Ianto announced, setting that mug down on the desk. 'And I've also pulled a report from the 1976 files concerning some thing called a heptacronolographer which looks an awful lot like that thing Tosh is working on. I thought it might help.'

'Thank you,' Jack said. 'But stop doing that, would you?'

Ianto's eyebrows knitted together. 'Do what, sir? Make you coffee?'

'No. The other thing. I mean, you coming to expect I need a coffee is one thing, but knowing ten minutes ahead of me that I'm going to ask you to locate this exact file for me?' he said, holding it up. 'That's just spooky, and bordering on the slightly creepy.' He paused and scrutinized the young man. 'Wait. You're not one of those psychics they had at Torchwood One, are you? I heard rumours they tested everyone.'

Ianto gave him a small smile. 'I'm not physic, sir. I just like doing a little extra research.'

'The others can do their own research.'

'All part of the job,' he insisted, 'anticipating people's needs.'

Jack smirked at him. 'Can you anticipate what I might need next?'

'Something that isn't part of my job.'

LOL. Ianto doesn't need psychic abilities, he's just that good. Doesn't take much to predict Jack's thoughts though. ;)

Ianto doesn't need psychic powers, he simply uses his eyes his brain, logically deducing what people will need next. Jack is particularly easy to guess.
