Jack suppressed a groan as he ran a hand over his face and continued to listen to the ranting at the other end of the phone. He was going to get a headache soon if it didn't let up.

Ianto silently set down a fresh coffee and momentarily pressed the button on the phone that silenced the microphone. At the other end, Kathy Swanson was still spilling vitriolic words. 'She's still going?'

'I thought she was nearly done,' Jack replied. 'I said I didn't understand what all the fuss was about and that set her off again.'

'Ah, beginner's mistake.'

For a man who's been alive as long as Jack, he really isn't very smart sometimes. Should have let Ianto talk to her. ;)
