Summary: Ianto could spend every Christmas like this.

Jack found it impossible to wipe the smile off his face at the sound of the contented sigh coming from his husband's lips. He cast his gaze over to Ianto who was sipping slowly from the tall fruity looking cocktail in his hand, lounged back on the sun lounge. He was the very picture of relaxation, which in itself was a massive victory as far as Jack was concerned.

'Enjoying the drink?' Jack asked.

'Considering ordering another,' he replied, 'but then I wouldn't be able to go for a swim for another hour. We should do this every year,' he added. 'Best Christmas holiday ever.'

'I don't know about every year,' Jack countered. 'We'd miss all those lovely snowy nights and watching the twinkling Christmas lights over mugs of hot cocoa. And of course we'd miss spending Christmas with your family.'

'We could always just bring them here with us,' Ianto replied. 'Although it would ruin the relative peace of the place. I much prefer this nice sunny locale to all that horrible cold. And having a few days away from my crazy family is something of a bonus. Makes you want to emigrate permanently.'

'You couldn't give up Cardiff,' Jack challenged him. 'You love it there. You wouldn't know what to do with yourself if you couldn't complain about the weather.'

'Wanna bet? If only we could convince the rift to relocate with us, it'd be perfect.'

'Nah,' Jack said. 'Who wants a pain in the butt rift in a place like this? Much better that we can just come here to escape once in a while.'

Ianto took a long sip on his drink, savoring its cool, freshness, and shut his eyes, letting the sun beat down on them, keeping him perfectly warm. 'Yep. Best Christmas break ever.'
