Notes: Ianto has planned for every eventuality. A double drabble.

'Here you are,' Ianto said, brandishing Jack's mobile phone.

'You fixed it!' Jack exclaimed, taking back the familiar phone that had only a few hours ago looked destined for the bin. The casing had been crushed and the screen shattered into a spiderweb of fragments after joining him in an explosion that left both of them battered and broken.

'Correction,' Ianto said. 'I replaced it. Did you seriously think your phone could be saved after what you did to it? Unlike you they're not built to be invincible. Now, I've spent all afternoon importing your contacts and updating your speed dials, so you should find everything in order just as it was.'

Jack was impressed by Ianto's thoughtfulness, giving him an identical replacement phone so that he wouldn't have to re-learn all the menus and functions. 'Good as new, huh?'

'Literally.'

Jack turned the phone over in his hand. It wasn't a flashy model but it had served him well over the years. 'I didn't think they made these anymore.'

'They don't,' Ianto replied. 'But I bought ten spare ones ages ago and we still have six left. Just destroy them at a slow pace, yeah? Eventually we'll run out.'
