Notes: Jack finds Ianto's descriptions of shadows at the cinema disturbing. A double drabble.

When Ianto began talking about shadows passing him by in the cinema, Jack felt a rush of cold air creep over his skin, as if the shadows themselves had returned to pay them another visit, or perhaps had never left the cinema at all, and were just waiting there for them.  

'What kind of shadows?' he asked, dreading the answer.

'I don't know. It wasn't clear.' Ianto paused. 'There was something else. You were up there on the screen. Large as life.'

That did catch Jack by surprise. 'What was I doing?' It seemed too much of a coincidence that on the same night something strange was going on here at the Electro, his own image should appear on an old piece of film.

'You were on some sort of stage, outside a big tent. You seemed to be part of a travelling show.'

Jack could no longer deny the troubling sounds that had haunted him back at the hub, however much he'd tried dismiss them. The two things were somehow connected. 'I heard it. Heard its music. Just a snatch of it.'

Ianto was right. Nothing was clear, but there was definitely something here they should be afraid of.
