Notes: Owen is slowly discovering that Torchwood takes it toll on you. A double drabble.

Owen cringed as he unzipped the body bag, taking another look inside it. 'Bloody hell,' he sighed, looking across at the four identical bags lined up alongside it. 'I don't know what the hell kind of cover story you're going to come up with to explain this, Tosh.'

If they hadn't had wallets on them at the time, Owen doubted even the best forensics would be able to identify them now. He hadn't been working here long, but this was way more brutal than anything he'd seen in A and E, or any of his medical studies.

Jack whipped past Owen so fast that he nearly bowled him over in the wake he created.

'Oi, where are you off?' he called out, watching Jack headed for the door. 'Oi!' he yelled louder when Jack didn't reply.

'Let him go,' Suzie said, keeping her voice low and calm. She hadn't even looked away when they'd found the bodies, just staring dispassionately at them like it was nothing out of the ordinary.

'Isn't he going to help with this lot?' Owen asked.

Suzie just shrugged. 'Maybe later. Sometimes he just needs to clear his head. This jobs gets to you like that.'
