Notes: Jack is stuck between wanting to get rid of Ianto and needing him. A double drabble.

When Ianto reached and grabbed for Jack's collar, Jack knew he'd had enough of messing about. He'd never wanted to get into it with this kid about getting a job at Torchwood, but being insulted about his personal hygiene was the last straw. His future employment wasn't up for negotiation. They'd capture the pterodactyl and that was it.

Even then Jack wasn't sure he wouldn't track the young man down afterwards and find a way to sneak retcon into his food and drink. He needed to let this go. Torchwood was gone and Cardiff didn't need some kid in a fancy suit - though the suit was kinda hot, as had been the tight jeans and grunge studded belt from the night before - but that was digressing. He didn't need a butler or a guard dog or a man servant, though he grinned at the last one. Man servant sounded so kinky. Maybe one of those wouldn't be so bad to have around - strictly for personal use, of course.

He turned again to look at the dinosaur. At least it was a small dinosaur, he supposed. Torchwood One or not, this kid was gonna have to help whilst Jack became bait.
