Summary: It doesn't seem like the boys are ever going to get their moment alone.

Jack leaned in for a kiss and hummed thoughtfully as he began to finger Ianto's shirt buttons. 'Don't usually get the pleasure of undressing you twice in as many hours,' he murmured, begging to slip the first button undone to reveal the slightly curled chest hair right at the top.

Ianto's hand drifted over the top of Jack's, stopping it from moving down to the second button. 'Can you not?' he asked.

Jack found Ianto's tone curious. It wasn't an annoyed "can you not," as in "I've got better things to do than entertain you". It was more of a "can you not, I like what we're doing right now without taking it any further". That confused Jack. Not ten minutes ago they'd both been shirtless and Jack had his hand very comfortably down inside Ianto's trousers, enjoying what he found tucked snugly inside them.

Ianto pushed his hand away a little further, though he made no move to redo the button Jack had unpicked, which filled Jack with a confidence that the pause was only a temporary halt to proceedings. 'Maybe we shouldn't,' Ianto said.

Jack frowned back at him. 'Shouldn't?'

'Not here anyway,' Ianto clarified. 'Not like we get a lot of privacy, is it?'

Jack growled under his breath. The interruption from Gwen had annoyed him on multiple fronts, not the least of which was reigniting the tension that sat between himself and Ianto over this whole Flat Home Island business. They'd both managed to forget about it for a short while, which gave Jack his opening just as soon as the others had finally left the hub, taking a well-earned half day off. Ianto was kidding himself if he thought ignoring Jack would let him water the hothouse plants in peace.

'This is my home,' Jack said, making the statement clear and unequivocal. He was entitled to the same liberties as everyone else.

'It's also where we work,' Ianto replied, unfazed by Jack's terse response. 'I imagine you wouldn't be impressed if Owen brought his conquests back here.'

Jack knew Ianto had a point but that didn't make him feel any better. This was still his home. 'I don't care who sees us,' he said. He loved Ianto. If people wanted to stand there and watch him prove just how much then that was okay with him.

'I'm inclined to agree with you, but I'm not sure the others are quite so open to the idea.'

Jack felt a small victory in Ianto at least admitting he wasn't fussed or embarrassed at being caught out. That was definite progress. 'So, what? We have to hire a hotel room by the hour when I want to make love to you?'

Ianto smiled. 'Nothing so dramatic, though a night in a hotel once in a while would be nice.' He took Jack by the hand. 'Come back to mine and I promise you there'll be no more interruptions. You can undress me as many times as you like.'

It is a serious downside to living where you work, although the Hub does have so many interesting places for a bit of after hours fun. On te other hand, Ianto's bed is bigger...
