Summary: Jack is unaturally nervous about introducing Ianto to an old friend. A double drabble.

'You're ready?' Jack asked.

Ianto quirked an eyebrow at him. He was ready, but judging from the nervous expression on Jack's face he was the one who didn't look ready. Ianto tugged at the cuff of his shirt, something he did when he was nervous himself, but done this time intentionally to level the perceived playing field. 'I'm good.'

'Okay, then,' Jack said, readying to open the door to their guest. For someone Jack knew from his Agency days to still be around and remember him, let alone be here in Cardiff visiting, was quite miraculous. Jack paused, his hand wrapped around the handle. 'And just so you know, I never slept with him.'

'Good to know,' Ianto replied.

Jack opened the door and greeted his very old friend. Ianto was taken aback, expecting an alien but seeing someone who could have easily been mistaken for a Cardiff local.

'Ianto, this is Alvaro.'

Alvaro extended a hand, giving him a warm handshake. 'Oh, so you're the one.'

'I guess that's me,' Ianto replied, feeling sheepish. What had  Jack told him?

'You're not what I expected,' Alvaro said, taking in the suit.

Ianto smirked despite himself. 'I get that a lot.'
