Notes: Jack is having a hard time getting the team to help him hone his skills. A double drabble.

'Ianto! Perfect timing!' Jack called out. 'Come be my beautiful assistant.'

Ianto quirked an eye at Jack standing there with a throwing knife between his fingers. 'I really don't think that's such a good idea.' He spotted the board tacked to the wall behind him, three knives already lodged in it, though incredibly all hitting the middle target, barely half an inch between them. Where on earth did Jack get these things, anyway? Secret member of the Magic Circle? 'I take it Gwen said no, too?' She'd rushed out past him, saying something about a girl Andy had picked up at the police station.

Jack frowned. 'You're both killjoys. Having a beautiful assistant not only makes it more fun, but it sharpens the eye and hand. It's really the only way to practice.'

'I don't think your assistants would approve of you using the term practice. That implies you don't always miss.'

'Ianto, I'll have you know I was a two time world knife throwing champion.'

Ianto smirked. 'Only two times?'

Jack shrugged. 'Someone gets hit and it's a PR nightmare.'

'And you wonder why we said no.'

Jack smirked. 'Ianto, you know how good these hands are. Trust me.'
