Notes: Owen needs to choose his words more carefully. A double drabble.

'Oi, think we can get some coffee around here?' Owen yelled out, up to his arms in alien entrails.

'I'm in the middle of something,' Ianto called back.

'So? If you're in the middle, then it doesn't matter if you stop. Not like you said you were almost done or anything.'

'He's got a point,' Jack yelled, joining the conversation from his office. 'I vote for coffee.'

'You don't get to vote,' Ianto remarked. 'You're the boss.'

'Okay, then, as the boss I demand coffee. How's that?'

'Should've quit while I was ahead,' Ianto muttered.

'Come on,' Owen insisted. 'Not like it takes that much effort. It's all that fancy coffee machine that does the work anyway. You're just the man you knows how to make the gadget work.'

Ianto threw his file so hard across the room, it made Owen jump out of his skin. It slammed into the tiled wall just behind him before flopping sadly in a pile on the floor.

'Great coffee has nothing to do with the machine! It's the maker that makes great coffee!'

'Yeah, alright! Don't get your knickers in a knot! Can we get some coffee or not?'

'That'd be decaf, correct?'
